Life At My Table

Welcome to Life At My Table a place for real conversation about womanhood, marriage, motherhood, identity and the quiet work of becoming who you are.

I’m Jess. A wife, a mom and a woman who has lived enough life to know that peace is something you build, not something that just appears. I don’t speak from theories or trends. I speak from experience the kind that shapes you, humbles you and teaches you who you are.

This is where we talk about the things you think about in the shower, on a late-night drive or when the house finally gets quiet. The seasons of growth, the lessons that stretched us, the small joys that grounded us and the life we’re choosing on purpose.

Some episodes feel like coffee at the kitchen table. Others feel like the big-sister talk you didn’t know you needed. All of them are honest.

Take a seat. Get comfortable. You’re welcome here, always.

2025 was one of the most transformative years of my life. Not because everything was hard, but because everything became clearer.
In this episode, I am reflecting on what this past year quietly taught me about growth, boundaries, peace and learning when to stop rebuilding and start maintaining. I talk about letting go of survival mode, releasing old narratives and finally trusting the version of myself I've become.
This isn't an episode about forcing goals or chasing a "new year, new me" mindset. It's about stepping into 2026 feeling grounded, calm and confident. I am no longer living from a place of chaos.
If you are entering a new year feeling steadier and more sure of yourself this episode is for you. If you are craving peace over pressure this episode is for you.
Grab a coffee, take a walk or sit with me for a bit. You're ALWAYS welcome at my table!

What if the reason you feel stuck isn't because you're doing too little. What if it's because you've been living inside of someone else's formula for "balance"?
In this episode, we're talking about the "BOX OF 8's". The unspoken rule that says we should live in perfect, little, 8-hour blocks. 8 hours of sleep, 8 hours of work, 8 hours of "free time." Sounds fair, right? Until you realize those last 8 hours are usually spent doing everything BUT resting.
Join me as we unpack how society's version of "balance" quietly keeps us busy, burned out and disconnected from ourselves and how to finally break free.
I'll share what stepping outside of the 8's have looked like for me. From learning stillness, to finding joy in gardening, making sourdough, to building structure that actually feels peaceful.
You'll learn how to:
Reclaim your time and energy
Build routine that feels rooted, not rushed.
Shift from survival to peace. One small intentional change at a time.
Whether you're a mom, a dad, a corporate dream chaser. This one's for you! Lets step out of the box society built for us and start decorating it with peace, purpose and presence!
